Eastern Shore Regional Library (ESRL) serves as the regional resource center for eight county libraries on the Eastern Shore. ESRL purchases books and other materials to respond to the staff development needs of our member libraries.. Our holdings are included in the Lower Shore Library Consortium catalog, and are available through interlibrary loan.

ESRL subscribes to several electronic resources that serve the educational, information and entertainment needs of our member libraries and their customers. These resources encompass a variety of products and services, such as downloadable audiobooks and ebooks, encyclopedias, online tutoring, magazines and newspapers and general information.

ESRL also maintains a list of useful websites at Delicious.com. Topics include advocacy, outreach, library policies, and more. For more information on social bookmarking and how it applies to libraries, please see our Social Bookmarking tag.

Here is a list of materials we ordered recently. Our Collection Development Policy is used as a guide when ordering materials and subscribing to electronic resources.
